In todays Car Tour, we are taking a look at our friend Tom's Blazer. This is a special Blazer, built for and driven by Parnelli Jones. Jones is a former professional racing driver and racing team owner. Some of his most notable accomplishments are competing in the Indianapolis 500 and the Baja 1000 desert race. In 1962, he became the first driver to qualify over 150 mph. He won the race in 1963, then famously broke down while leading the 1967 race with three laps to go in a turbine car. Jones has been inducted into many Hall of Fames, Off-road Motorsports Hall of Fame in 1976, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame in 1985, the International Motorsports Hall of Fame in 1990, National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in 1991, Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in 1992, West Coast Stock Car Hall of Fame in 2001, and National Midget Auto Racing Hall of Fame.

As car people, we all love the car event talk. Its you and your friends at a cars and coffee talking about cars and how you've modified them. We want to capture those times in video form. Who knows, maybe your vehicle could be featured one day!
