As performance levels increase, an O.E. style flexplate just won't cut it and a stronger option is a necessity to prevent transmission and/or converter failure. B& M has you covered with our high performance flexplate designed for Ford, Lincoln and Mercury (externally balanced) 289 and 302ci V8 engines with 28.2 ounce imbalance. Features include high tensile strength steel to resist elongation and cracking, 10.50 inch bolt pattern and 157 tooth ring gear. The assembly is then Zinc plated and treated with a Chromate Conversion Coating for added corrosion resistance and durability. B& M flexplates are ideal for hot rods, street cars, tow vehicles or other vehicles needing the added protection and toughness that B& M has been delivering since 1953. Compatible with C4 and C6 automatic transmissions. Fits 1968 to 1976 Ford; Lincoln and Mercury C4 automatic transmissions. Uses a 157 tooth ring gear and a 10.5 inch bolt pattern. Compatible with 289cid and 302cid engines. Has 28.2 in oz. balance weight.
